1973 Kawasaki 500 H1d

I bought this right after selling my 1971 500, liking the newer style at the time. I kept this bike for many years and ended up drag racing with it too. I think it ran in the mid 12 second range in the 1/4 mile. Certainly not as fast as it was advertized to go. But, it was still a very quick bike in its day and also very wheelie prone.

Wards Riverside Mojave Benelli 125

This is the bike I got my license on in 1969. This is a 1968 model that was on sale for $179 at Montgomery Wards.

1967 Wards Riverside Benelli 250

I turned this motorcycle into a short tracker and had more fun than most 16 year olds have nowadays. I did all my own work and paid my own way.

Ossa 230

I don’t remember the year of this Ossa, but I remember it was a 230cc and a friend of the family let me use it for a few short track races and also to play around on in the field close to our house. I think I was 14 year old here.

Destroyed Engine Honda SOHC Dragbike

This was an 836cc SOHC Honda engine in my laydown dragbike that dropped a valve and shattered the #4 piston allowing the rod to slice the case open. Not fun.

1967 Suzuki X-6 Hustler 250cc

I put this together from a bunch of boxes of parts in 1978. I sure wished I would of kept it!
